Over the last few days, you may have noticed the 100% silk organza by the yard and sampler kit listings disappearing from our shop, one by one. That's because our designer Pearl was reorganizing those listings — laying all the pretty bolts together on the work bench and creating new curated listings that take full advantage of our remaining inventory.

Those listing went LIVE in our Etsy shop this morning, and we are celebrating with a TWO DAY FLASH SALE on all the 100% silk organza fabrics and kits.

Here's our new OVER THE RAINBOW by the yard color grouping, which boasts a glorious spectrum of vividly-colored silks.

There's no need to be! 100% silk organza is a light, crisp and sturdy translucent fabric that barely unravels, cuts and pins with ordinary tools, runs through the sewing machine like a dream, steams gently into billowing folds — or presses absolutely flat like paper.

It really is as easy to work with as quilting cotton.

Silk organza makes beautiful doll clothes, and it's also an amazing craft fabric. Maybe you'd like to make some Korean pojagi patchwork hangings for your windows — or silk flowers, or beadwork, or embroidery, or any number of other wonderful crafts?
